Education: Secondary (high school graduate certificate) or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
On Site: Work must be complete at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work Setting: Large volume bakery
Responsibilities: Task
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batter for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Prepare special orders
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Draw up production schedules
- Ensure that the quality of products meet established standards
- Operate machinery
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
